Eimar Kelly — My Limbo (EP)
Eimear Kelly presents My Limbo, a theatrical indie-pop EP that sits in the uneasy space between movement and emotional paralysis. Across the project, Kelly explores relationship power dynamics, cycles of desire, and the difficulty of walking away from situations that no longer serve you. High-energy, polished pop production collides with sharp, introspective lyricism, creating a sense of momentum constantly tugged back by emotional tension. Tracks like Combust Crush and Limbo Forever pulse with urgency and fixation, while Demean Me confronts the slow erosion of self-worth within intimacy. There’s also space for contrast — the sweetness of Aching For You followed by the Madonna-esque pop rush of Forever Boy.
Beyond its emotional themes, My Limbo reflects a period of creative stasis for Kelly herself. Written during a self-imposed lockdown to finally finish demos she couldn’t leave behind, the EP pulls together songs from different eras and artistic directions she once struggled to move past. The result is an eclectic but intentional body of work that embraces discomfort rather than smoothing it over. With My Limbo, Eimear Kelly positions herself as an artist unafraid to place raw, unresolved emotional realities inside bold, accessible, and theatrical pop frameworks.

Harry Charles — Storm
Harry Charles returns with Storm, a moody yet energised electronic cut that signals a clear shift in pace and intent. The track balances uplift and tension, moving through flickering melodies, dense textures, and moments of dissonance that build a sense of anticipation. It’s a song that feels alive with motion — brooding at its core, but driven by an undercurrent of momentum that pulls you forward.
Drawing on material originally crafted for the live setting, Storm reflects a new chapter for Charles; one focused on ambitious, movement-led electronic music. Where his previous work leaned into expansive, immersive soundscapes, this latest release thrives in the space after dark, capturing the charged feeling of energy gathering just before release. It’s a striking statement from an artist continuing to refine his place within Aotearoa’s underground electronic scene.
